Next Gen 5K

March 14, 2026, 8:00 am

The Next Gen 5K is a Fundraiser for Mexia Baptist’s youth & children ministries as well as support for our local crisis pregnancy center, Alpha Women’s Resources. 

The race will take place at Monroeville, AL, Water Conference Center located at 160 E. Claiborne Street, Monroeville, AL 36460. 

The race will start and finish at the Monroeville Water Tower and features a flat and fast course that travels through historic downtown and the adjacent neighborhoods.

Awards: Top 2 Overall male & female finishers

Top 2 in these male & female age categories: 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over. 

Entry Fee: $35 now to March 2nd, 2026. $40 after March 2nd, 2026.

Race Day Registration starts at 7:00am for $40.

Registration includes a shirt and drink and snack post race.

There will be one water station on the route.

Awards will follow after the completion of the race in the above format.
