Word Wobble 5K Run/Walk

This race is a wonderful opportunity for participants and volunteers who are active in their communities to contribute to helping provide dictionaries to the third graders in Jefferson County, Kansas. Pleasant View Grange #1459 has been presenting dictionaries to the third graders in the area for many years through the Words for Thirds program. Words for Thirds is a nationwide service initiative endorsed by the National Grange through the Dictionary Project, a non-profit organization that strives to provide an individual dictionary to every school student as a way of encouraging the development of good reading habits and verbal comprehension skills early in life.
